My Story

Back in the 1988 it became more and more obvious that the things that I desperately long for from life seemed elusive and impossible to achieve. I was frustrated that the work I was doing (retail store manager) was not bringing me joy. I realized that I needed to find something else that would utilize my potential in the best possible way, for myself and others.

Figuring out what to do next, to keep me afloat and be a bridge to my latter years and retirement was not going to be an easy task. I dug down very deep within myself trying to find a role that would help me achieve the things that were missing in my life. I analyzed my work experiences (things I enjoyed and, things I didn’t), education (where it could make an impact), and my passions (providing for the needs of myself and my family, and help others achieve the things they wanted out of life). What came of this process was a career in real estate. I learned that real estate is an industry of many specialties. So,  I got my real estate license and choose retail property management as my specialty.

The 26 years of property management were very rewarding both financially and in the area of personal development. For the first time  in my life I was able to afford the things I needed, homes, cars, supporting our kids through college, and saving for a comfortable retirement. Also, during this time I focused on being the best mall manager I could be always preparing for the next opportunity. I earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and the following real estate designations; Certified Commercial Investment Member, CCIM, Certified Property Manager, CPM, Certified Shopping Center Manager, CSM, Real Property Administrator, RPA.

Moving on…

Then in 2004, I felt the need to help more people, so I became a professor of real estate at Collin College.

Currently, I teach the Texas pre-licensing courses, property management, and help students prepare for the Texas Real Estate Exam. In 2013 I heard about the training that Keller Williams Realty provided to new real estate agents, so I checked it out to see if it would help me improve my teaching in the area of residential real estate, and could I recommend this company  to my students. After seeing all that Keller Williams Realty had to offer to real estate agents, great culture, best in class training, state-of-the-art technology, and wealth building opportunities. I decided to become an associate broker with them and transferred my broker licensee. I’m constantly on the lookout for talented people who want more from life. The Millionaire Real Estate Agent Model has already brought happiness and fulfillment to thousands.
